General Eisenhower “Ike”

Ike is a 2009 Dutch Warmblood gelding. He is the giant of our farm and has a personality as big as he is! Ike is the inspiration behind Stable Ground, and works daily to keep us present, grounded and tuned in. Ike is a trained dressage horse, but is enjoying his second career in therapy.

Colonel Willy

Willie is a 2006 model Quarter Horse who was adopted through The Pegasus Project in East Texas. Willie has been a member of the family since 2019 and will be with us until the end. He is a joy to spending time with and the best trail companion one could ever have. He is a friend to all, loves store bought snacks, and openly offers his gentle, loving heart in session day after day.

Chance

Chance is a 2015 paint pony. Chance was rescued from an auction, but you would never know it. He holds the title tiniest equine teammate, but has a heart the size of all the horses combined. Chance loves snacks, warm hugs, challenging clients, and taking his buddy Carl Rogers (the barn cat) for rides.

Carl Rogers

While he’s not a horse, Carl sure thinks he is! Like his namesake, the famous theorist Carl Rogers, this cat is absolutely person-centered. His ideal day involves sitting on the laps and (lightly) nibbling on every client that comes out. We found Carl as a baby in the McDonald’s drive through- arguably the best iced coffee run ever! Carl is a 2020 model orange tabby and absolutely perfect.
